Herbert is the founder and owner of Trans Marine Propulsion Systems, Inc. (TMPS). Born in Denmark, Herbert obtained his degree at World Maritime University in Sweden and spent his formative years as chief engineer sailing for Sanko Lines. Before founding TMPS in 1984, Herbert worked for Todd Pacific Yard in Seattle, Washington. Herbert is an expert in his field and as such he has often conducted training for ship owners and given advice for dispute resolutions.
Shane has been with TMPS for nearly 15 years. As President he oversees the entire administration of the company. These areas include the company's financial departments as well as the human resource department. Shane is in charge of ensuring effective financial and budgetary control of the company, new business, vendor/customer relations. His strong background and dedication are important assets to TMPS in the strategic plan for increased earnings, top notch customer service and a productive and sound work environment for our employees.
Long began his career with TMPS in 1988. He quickly excelled technically in the field and workshop. After decades of servicing slow speed and medium speed diesel engines, his comprehensive view and knowledge of the maritime industry have become an intergral part of TMPS's management team. His role and leadership have been a vital asset to the developement of TMPS's future and growth.
